Gift Ideas for the Man in Your Life: Men's Skin Care Products

Let"s face it: finding gift ideas for men can be tough. Valentine"s Day, you"re thinking chocolates or his favorite beverage. His birthday, a cake of course, and ò€“ a tie? Gets old, seems kinda lame. A movie, a concert? Nice, butò€¦ Why not really surprise him? You take good care of your skin. Why not help your favorite guy do the same with a gift of men"s skin care products, or maybe even a cosmetic dermatology treatment?

Meladerm Side Effects

Most of the time you can tell just by looking at the ingredients in a product whether or not they will cause you any side effects or adverse reactions.  That is usually because we have enough experience with products that caused undesired reactions in the past.  Meladerm is formulated with natural ingredients that are proven to be just as safe as they are effective.

The Dangers of Lace Wigs

Allergic To Hair

Some women who have sensitive skin have been prone to breaking out with rashes because of synthetic hair. Futura heat resistant hair is the most likely culprit because of the synthetic hair coating and materials used to make it.

If you are someone who has sensitive skin, try to use human hair lace wigs. While some human hair lace wigs are treated with chemicals, it is less likely that it will react with your skin. You can also consult a lace wig supplier about a custom lace wig with non-allergenic human or synthetic hair.

Allergic To Adhesives

This is the more common of the 2 allergies. More women have reported issues with adhesives than the hair itself. Glue often has chemicals that we rarely hear of or bother to educate ourselves on. A helpful tip is to not use the glue on a frequent basis.

Do not remove and re-glue your lace wig more often than once per week. If you do need to do this, try to switch use between tape and glue. If you have lace wig with combs and it fits snug enough, try wearing it with no adhesive for relaxed days to give your skin a break.

Hair Damage

Hair damage with a lace wig is not promised but if you do not care for your hair properly, you can risk damaging it. Hair damage can occur if you apply glue and tape directly to the hair and have no patience when removing it. As always, you should apply the adhesive slightly in front of the hairline so you are not coating your own finer hairline hairs with adhesive. If you accidentally do then simply use extreme patience and a quality adhesive solvent to remove the lace wig.

Another issue of hair damage can occur because women forget to maintain their own hair. Just because you cannot remove the lace wig on demand does not give you an excuse to not wash and condition your own hair underneath.

The lace wig should be removed when it is time to trim your own ends and deep condition the hair. For washing and conditioning, you can do this at home or go to a professional stylist. You can also read my article on How to Maintain Your Own Hair While Wearing a Lace Wig.

Wasting Money

While this is not a health danger, it is something that everyone feels in their pocket and often regrets. To avoid becoming jaded by the ideas of lace wigs, research each purchase. If your face shape looks bad with full curly hair, do not purchase the most expensive curly lace wig you can find. Read your labels as well. Too many women assumed that all lace wigs are heat resistant and end up running perfectly good synthetic hair lace wigs. These are just simple tips to help you avoid flushing your money down the drain.
